I bought this to inject cupcakes with a buttery icing. It worked ok except the stopper in the injector is not air tight and icing leaked from the main chamber to the area behind the stopper. This kind of defeated the purpose and made it difficult for me to constantly be refilling the stopper with the leaked liquid. I would recommend it for occasional use, but if you plan to use it a lot, it may not hold up. It is fairly flimsy.

THE PLUNGER ALLOWS MATERIAL IN THE CYLINDER TO BYPASS THE PLUNGER AND GO BACK UP INTO THE CYLINDER WHICH MAKES A MESS. THIS UNIT SHOULD BE BUILT MORE LIKE A SYRINGE WHERE ALL THE MATERIAL EXITS THROUGH THE DELIVERY PORT AT THE END OF THE UNIT. CAN NOT RECOMMEND

It came with a giant crack in the side, and things like cream or frosting just come up the sides of the plunger and don't go in the donut/pastry at all. Don't waste your money on this.
