These toppers are nice, but if your icing is not hard yet, the toppers will sink into it. They are slightly too heavy for a room-temperature icing. So you need to put them on at the last minute. Also, the cars come by themselves, not other decor is provided.

This is a gorgeous topper. However, it would be much more beautiful in ivory as it is a 50th Anniversary cake topper. If you decide to purchase this item, please make sure you use white cake frosting. Putting this topper on a cream colored cake will make the cake look dingy as this topper is a "pure" white. It is very light-weight and the lower half looks like a dressy skirt of silk. It is quite feminine and looks great surrounded with a few flowers.

Received the item quickly....hence the one star....but the product was terrible and a complete waste of money. I followed all of the directions and the edible picture STILL wouldn't come off the plastic to place on the cake. It was crumbling apart with every attempt. I finally gave up and has to place it on my daughters cake with the backing on for pictures and then take it back off. Horrible product. It was probably so old and stuck to the paper. Thanks for ruining my daughters birthday cake!

Either customers are fully satisfied or the product stinks based on the reviews I've seen. Unfortunately, mine falls under the Product Stinks category. I have used a decal like this before with no problems, but this time around there was nothing I could do to make the decal come off the backing sheet without totally ruining the picture. I followed the instructions to the letter but could not get more than just the very edges to loosen, so in order to actually use the decal on my daughter's birthday cake, I had to cut around the photo while it was still on the paper and just place it on like so. Once the candles were blown out, I removed the picture from the cake and tossed it. My daughter liked licking the frosting from the back of the decal, but it really irritated me to not be able to use it as it was intended. Next year I may decide to go with a cheap, plastic topper again instead of wasting money on this type of thing. At least a topper can be washed and played with after the party!

I ordered this to have as the cake topper for my daughter's wedding. It gives the impression in the photo of being larger than it is. 6.5" from base to top of ring means that the bride and groom themselves are smaller. I think it is very elegant and was personally quite glad that it wasn't as large as it looked. The finish is beautiful, the couple's embrace is sweet and romantic. It came beautifully packaged by Hallmark and is very well protected. It comes in two pieces, the couple as one and the base and ring as the other. There is a "knob" in the porcelain (on top of the base) that fits into a hole on the underside of the couple. Seems to be very secure when assembled, it's not balanced precariously or anything. I personally hand paint these type of things to match the wedding when I use them (have done a few wedding's flowers including my own) and generally add a back drop of flowers, but this one is one that can easily be left the elegant white and doesn't need any embellishment.

I purchased this cake topper for about a third of what it cost in the store - exact same quality, exact product - I love it! It is a bit heavy though so our bakery had to add an extra support on the small cake. It stayed put though and looked beautiful. Now we have another pretty keepsake to remind us of our special day.

I just ordered this cake topper for an Indian wedding. When I looked at the pic, I thought you get the whole cake topper set. When you look at the two display pics, both of them show the same groom topper with the bride. But the groom does not come with the bride as I discovered when I opened the box. It was very disappointing. Now, I have to place another order for the groom. I am just disappointed that the display pic is so misleading. The bride cake topper is pretty and thats why I am giving it two stars. If you are in a time crunch like me, just beware that you have to buy the two separately.

This product may have been easy to use and even edible when fresh but not the ones I received. The product was extremely difficult to remove from the backing because it was so thin. There is no way to get a grip and lift off and because it is so thin and flimsy it is hard to place on the cake. I will not be buying this type of product again. Greatly dissapointed!

I was very excited when I saw this edible image because a family member asked me to make a Betty Boop cake. Since I was already preparing for another party and had a house full of guest I knew I would not be able to free hand this. So the image was my answer. I pulled the image out and was so excited to sit it on my cake. I followed the directions and tried and tried and tried to get the image off the paper. I rolled it on the counter, I put it back in the freezer. The image would not come off! It crumbled and broke off. I was devasted and at 12:30am I ended up drawing Betty boop. The only usuable part of my image was the words. So I placed them on the cake. I don't know if this was old but it was a waste of my money!!!

I purchased this topper to add to my Betty Boop birthday theme. The cake looked amazing, I had the store that I purchased my cake from place it ( make sure that they will do this for you, 2 people said they could but after I picked up the cake another employee stated something about copy right issues meant that they would not do it again??)
