I ordered this for a cake for Super Bowl Sunday for my boyfriend who is a HUGE 49er fan. I have tried coloring cakes red in the past and have had no success so I figured I would just order the cake-topper and be done with it. First of all, I was confused by the instructions. It said to peel the paper away from the back of the topper, but, in hindsight, I don't think there was any paper attached to the cake-topper at all. It came on a piece of smooth cardboard and fell right away from it. I figured that there was paper directly attached to the cake-topper so tried and tried to get it to come apart. The directions said that if you have difficulty removing the paper from the cake-topper, to run it along the edge of the table. I did this and proceeded to rip the cake-topper right in half. I then figured maybe there was no paper attached at all since it was not visible and completely impossible to remove it from the cake-topper even if it was there. I just put it on the cake at that point and told people to be careful when they ate it. It looked ugly (you could see the rip) but it was ok from a distance and the whole thing was edible after all. I was very disappointed. :( Sorry.

Edible cake image was great. Was a little tricking figuring out how to take it off the paper but we managed to do it.
